How to do the test?
Doing the test couldn’t be easier!!
You do it yourself. There are no needles, umbrellas or examinations!
For males, all you have to do is pee in a pot, and for females, you do a self

- using the pipette, transfer urine from the larger bottle to the mini bottle up to the top black line *see the diagram on the back of the pack.*
- screw the lid on tightly
- flush away the rest of the urine from the larger bottle, and rinse it. This then needs to be put in the bin.

CONFIDENTIALITY
No matter where you pick up your test kit, the results only come back to the screening
office for us to contact you, unless you have stated otherwise. We will only contact
you by the method you have stated, but if your result is positive, and we have tried
at least 3 times asking you to phone us, and we have not heard from you, then we
may try to contact your GP to ensure you get treatment.
We are part of the National Screening Programme, aimed at reducing the number of
people infected with Chlamydia. They require us to let them know how many tests
are being done. However, no personal information is shared with them, such as names
or addresses. We just have to provide ages, male/female numbers, areas and the number
of positive and negative results we get.
